Does the connector connect to our HR system directly?

No. The connector reads only from your TechWolf instance, with no direct connection to your HR system. Many HR systems offer a similar MCP server, which you can add alongside this one to work over both TechWolf data and core HR data in the same assistant.

Does the connector work through our own MCP gateway?

Yes, as long as your gateway forwards each user’s own login. TechWolf checks compatibility with your specific gateway before rollout; see Security.

Does connecting through Copilot give TechWolf access to our other Microsoft 365 data?

No. The connector reaches only your TechWolf instance. Whatever else Copilot can see — SharePoint, Teams, email — stays outside TechWolf’s reach.

If we connect third-party tools to the connector, do those tools get access to our TechWolf data?

Any third-party tool that uses the TechWolf MCP connector can process the data it retrieves. The scope of that data depends on the prompt of the user driving the tool and on that user’s TechWolf data access.

Can the connector change our TechWolf data?

No. The connector is read-only and cannot modify or delete any skill or task data. If your question is not answered here, reach out to us at support@techwolf.ai.
