Prerequisites

To have access to the Workday datasource integration, at least the following prerequisites must be met:
  • You have the appropriate TechWolf API licenses.
  • You have the appropriate SkillEngine API credentials, which include:
    • Tenant ID
    • Tenant secret
    • Tenant name
    • Region (Europe or United States)
  • You have a TechWolf API tenant set up that contains the relevant information for the requested output integration.
  • Both you and TechWolf have access to the agreed input location.

Setup

Setting up the standard Workday-to-TechWolf datasource integration comprises only two aspects. On one hand, EIB exports must be set up within Workday with specifications that match those required by TechWolf, which are explored in more detail in the EIB Specification section. On the other hand, communication and agreement with TechWolf on some key aspects of the integration and some details about the EIB exports must exist; in particular, the cadence with which the exports are made and delivered, the location at which the exports will be delivered to TechWolf (presumed to be a directory on your TechWolf S3 bucket), the format in which the files will be delivered to TechWolf (CSV, xlsx, …), and the exact way in which the exports correspond to the input required by TechWolf (insofar as the EIB setup does not match the default specification).
