Scenario

This tutorial describes how you can use custom properties within the Skill Engine API, including:
  • Creating a custom property definition for an Entity type.
  • Adding custom properties for Entity objects.
This functionality is aimed at both enterprises (recruitment, outplacement, internal mobility) and staffing & employment agency customers.

Preparation

In this tutorial, we’ll add custom properties to an Employee. We assume that you have a set of Employees created within the system already. This step is described in the vacancy matching tutorial.
