For each file it gives the S3 location, the fields TechWolf expects, and the Workday field each one comes from. The Employee Baseline file is required and establishes each Employee; every other file on this page references it through `employee_id`. Two files link out to other entities: the Employee Baseline points to a Job through `assigned_position`, and Learning History points to a Course through `course_id`. The [Jobs](/integrations/datasource-integrations/workday-datasource/jobs) and [Courses](/integrations/datasource-integrations/workday-datasource/courses) specifications must be synced as well for those links to resolve. The rules shared by every Workday file (full dumps, dependencies, transformations and how to read the field tables) are described in the [EIB Specification](/integrations/datasource-integrations/workday-datasource/eib-specification). The files from Learning History onwards carry no identifier from Workday. TechWolf generates an `external_id` for each row as a hash of its content, so the EIB does not need to export one. The baseline Employee file. **Required.** Establishes the existence of each Employee; every other file on this page references it. The Employee's history of internal Jobs. **Highly recommended.** Should include the current assigned position and its start date.
