# Courses

## Courses datasource specification

This page describes the Workday EIB file for syncing **Courses** into TechWolf.
It gives the S3 location, the fields TechWolf expects, and the Workday field
each one comes from.

Courses are referenced by Employee Learning History (see the
[Employees](/integrations/datasource-integrations/workday-datasource/employees)
specification), so a Course referenced there must be synced through this file.

The rules shared by every Workday file (full dumps, dependencies,
transformations and how to read the field tables) are described in the
[EIB Specification](/integrations/datasource-integrations/workday-datasource/eib-specification).

    <Note>
      TechWolf recommends filtering the Course export in Workday on **Learning
      Content Type** in the selection list `Blended Course`, `Digital Course`,
      `Lesson`.

      Mandatory Courses are best removed too. If they are included, they can be
      recommended to Employees who have not completed them yet.
