# How To: Whitelist SFTP server in SAP

Before beginning data transfers, you must request that SAP whitelists the SFTP
server provided by TechWolf. The following step-by-step guide shows how to
submit a support request to SAP with the details of your SFTP server to ensure
secure connectivity.

  <Step title="Go to the Create an Incident page">
    To create an SAP support case, go to the [Create an Incident <Icon icon="link" iconType="solid" />](https://me.sap.com/app/casecreate) page. You will need to be logged in with a valid S-user account for this. The account should have the `Display Cloud Data` and `Cases` permissions.

  <Step title="Select your SAP system">
    You will need to fill in some basic information. Your customer number and name are already filled in.
    Select the SAP system that you want to enable the TechWolf integration for. After selecting the system, the `Product Area` should not be a required field anymore and should be greyed out.

  <Step title="Fill in the Description">
    Fill in the Subject and Description to request whitelisting the SFTP server.
    Below, we have drafted a Subject and Description which you can use.
    Make sure to fill in your SAP SF System and use the SFTP server details for
    your TechWolf region.

    Following this support page: https://me.sap.com/notes/3122406, we want to allowlist a TechWolf SFTP server on our <Your SAP SF system> tenant:

    - SFTP IP addresses: <TechWolf SFTP IP addresses for your region>
    - SFTP Hostname (FQDN): <TechWolf SFTP hostname for your region>
    - Port Number: 22

    Business reason: We want to export HR core data to TechWolf.

    Is it possible to allowlist this SFTP server on our tenant please?

  <Step title="Select the Subproduct">
    Select the relevant Subproduct for this request. Search for and select `LOD-SF-PLT-IPR` as this relates to IP management.

  <Step title="Review the Incident page">
    Scroll to the end of the page. The Attachments, Details, and Priority sections can be left as is. Click on `Review & Submit Incident` to give the page a final review.

    Scroll to the end of the page. Click on the `Submit Incident` button to submit the request.
